Terms of Service

Effective October 14, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of LinkedBuddy, operated by aPavone Concepts ("LinkedBuddy", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using LinkedBuddy, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use LinkedBuddy. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

What LinkedBuddy is

LinkedBuddy is an AI-assisted tool for managing your presence on LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram: drafting and scheduling posts, publishing them through each platform's official API, triaging your inbox and comments, tracking outreach and competitors, and exposing those same tools to an AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT) you connect via the Model Context Protocol (MCP).

LinkedBuddy only automates what each platform's own policies allow an app to do on your behalf — publishing and scheduling posts through the official API, with your explicit authorization. Direct messages, comment replies and connection notes are always drafted for you to review and send yourself; LinkedBuddy never sends these, or any other action, as if it were you, and never scrapes any platform.

Your account

You must be at least 16 years old and able to form a binding contract to use LinkedBuddy. You're responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for everything that happens under your account.

Connecting LinkedIn, Facebook and Instagram

Connecting a platform account is optional and requires your explicit authorization through that platform's own sign-in flow. By connecting an account, you confirm you have the right to manage it (including, for Facebook and Instagram, that you're an authorized administrator of any Page you connect) and you agree to also follow that platform's own terms — LinkedIn's User Agreement, and Meta's Platform Terms and Community Standards, as applicable. You can disconnect any platform at any time from Settings.

LinkedBuddy has no control over LinkedIn's or Meta's APIs, policies or availability. We're not responsible for actions a platform takes on your account — including suspension, restriction, or API access changes — even if related to your use of LinkedBuddy, though we design the product to only ever use official, authorized API calls specifically to avoid that risk.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use LinkedBuddy to:

  • Violate any law, or the terms of LinkedIn, Meta, Facebook or Instagram.
  • Post spam, deceptive, defamatory, infringing, or illegal content, or content you don't have the rights to post.
  • Impersonate another person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or circumvent any platform's access controls or rate limits, or interfere with LinkedBuddy's or any connected platform's normal operation.
  • Use LinkedBuddy to harass, abuse, or send unwanted bulk outreach.

We may suspend or terminate access for violating this section, with or without notice, depending on severity.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create or upload — post drafts, media, voice profile, leads, notes. You grant LinkedBuddy a license to store, process and transmit that content solely to provide the service to you (for example, sending it to an AI provider to draft a post, or to LinkedIn/Meta's API to publish it). You're solely responsible for what you choose to publish.

AI-generated content

LinkedBuddy uses AI to draft posts, replies and other text at your request. AI output can be inaccurate, outdated, or inappropriate for your context. You're responsible for reviewing and editing anything before you schedule, publish, or send it — nothing goes out to a platform or another person without your review and explicit action (scheduling or publishing a post, or copying a drafted reply yourself).

Fees

LinkedBuddy is currently offered free of charge. If we introduce paid plans in the future, we'll tell you what they cost and ask for your agreement before you're charged anything.

Termination

You can stop using LinkedBuddy and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or discontinue the service (or parts of it) with reasonable notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability — do.

Disclaimers

LinkedBuddy is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We don't guarantee LinkedBuddy will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-drafted content will be accurate or suitable for your purpose. We don't control, and aren't responsible for, LinkedIn's, Meta's, Facebook's or Instagram's platforms, policies, or availability.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, LinkedBuddy and aPavone Concepts won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or account access on a connected platform, arising from your use of LinkedBuddy — even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim relating to LinkedBuddy is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100 if you paid nothing.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the effective date above and, for material changes, announce it in the app. Continuing to use LinkedBuddy after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
